What I do

Every day, I attempt to make a difference in the lives of others in the world I am fortunate enough to meet. Being on Survivor has given me the spring board to do a lot of good in many different ways. Countless doors have opened, offering fantastic opportunities that have enhanced my life in ways I would never have imagined. I speak, I create and organize events. I collaborate, I network and I help. I certainly hope I make a difference.

I speak. I do speaking engagements with two formats. I call it Inspirational Speaking instead of motivational speaking as motivation comes from within. I hope that among the thousands I have the privilege of meeting, many will hear what I say and that waters the seed of a dream that will germinate into fulfilling their dream. I tie in my Survivor experience into life skills that apply to any age from 2 to 102. I talk about the “12 Ps” that guide my life and which I used to make Reality Rally the incredible event it is.

I create. During five hour walks in the jungle after I was booted from Survivor, I had a “Jungle Vision” that has turned into the acclaimed charity fundraiser, Reality Rally. With the collaboration of more than 600 people we make it happen. I constantly create new ways to bring awareness to taking charge of your own health and awareness about Michelle’s Place, our charity of choice.

I collaborate, network and help. I work with many charities and organizations to enhance their events with volunteer help and celebrity appearances. I volunteer for the medical crew during the Susan G. Komen 3-Day® in San Diego, a three day, 60 mile walk along the San Diego coast.

I am a wife of 42 years, a mother of three grown daughters, six grandchildren, a mother-in-law to three young men, an registered nurse and a friend.
